Murray says “ The more TV acknowledges that this is what most of us face everyday, the more we all understand that a lot more unites us than divides us”. Murray's main argument is that TV shows in modern times do not help to point out what we have in common instead, the shows make us feel different and possible bad because we only see people with a lot of wealth and people who have it really easy. I can agree and disagree with Murray's argument because some people just want to watch TV to relax and don't really pay attention on what is going on. I also can agree with him because if people are constantly watching TV about really wealthy people, then they could start getting depressed or very greedy. This can cause people to not care about how other people make money and can start making money by doing dangerous or illegal things. If they understand that people are starting to get depressed or start getting greedy and doing dangerous things then they need to start making more TV shows about people who aren't as rich or popular.
